Nigel Kennedy - violin
Marios Papadopoulos - conductor
Nigel Kennedy, one of the world’s leading violin virtuosos and the best selling classical violinist of all time will join the Oxford Philomusica in a programme of best-loved works. He will enthral us with Vaughan Williams’ exquisite portrait of the flight of the lark followed by a hauntingly beautiful rendition of Danny Boy, before finishing, most appropriately, with Vivaldi’s celebrated quartet of concertos.
Sponsored by Peter and Jessica Frankopan.
