Annual fundraising concert, dinner and auction

On Sunday 20 May 2012, Oxford Philomusica will be holding its annual fundraising concert and dinner in the Paul Hamlyn Hall of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra.

The event is jointly hosted by our Vice-President, Sir Victor Blank, and by our trustee Sir Michael Parkinson. A champagne reception will precede an Oxford Philomusica concert featuring excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen and an appearance by one of the world’s leading sopranos Ana Maria Martinez, who will have been singing Verdi’s Falstaff in the House the night before. The concert will be followed by a formal dinner and an auction conducted by Nick Stewart.
