The Sheldonian Theatre is again the setting for the Oxford Philomusica’s performance of Verdi’s monumental Requiem.

The staggering vocal panorama of the choral writing, sung by a 100-strong Oxford Philomusica Chorus and Philharmonia Chorus, will evoke feelings from wrenching terror to wondrous peace as our thoughts ponder on the finality of death, the nature of God and eternity, and the accountability of the human soul.
